BYD Belux triples sales in January thanks to successful motor show and growing dealer network
Zaventem, 2 February 2026 – BYD Belux achieved remarkable growth in January. Sales of BYD vehicles in Belgium and Luxembourg tripled in the first month of the year compared to the same period last year. This strong performance is due to a successful motor show and a clear increase in visitor numbers across the network of 27 dealerships.

The motor show served as an important lever for this commercial success. The wide range of electric and electrified models attracted a lot of interest and led to both direct orders and increased brand awareness.
This momentum continued in showrooms across Belux. Thanks to the extensive dealer network, customers were able to discover the brand up close, resulting in more test drives, consultations and sales contracts. The combination of national visibility and local presence proved crucial to the success.
‘These results show that our latest models, such as the ATTO 2 DM-i, and our approach are proving successful,’ said Joris Clavie, Managing Director of BYD Belux at Inchcape. ‘The motor show gave us a strong boost, while our 27 showrooms ensure proximity and trust with the customer.’
With this strong start to the year, BYD Belux confirms its growth ambitions and position as a key player in the further electrification of the car market in Belgium and Luxembourg.
